Email marketing is one of the best ways to marketing online, if you know what you are doing. So how much will email marketing cost you and is it worth it?
The first thing we need to discuss is what email marketing can bring you and what type of email marketing we are focusing on. We are not going to focus on bulk marketing where you buy someone else's list and send out a message to them. We are going to focus on building your own list and marketing to it.
Email marketing to your own list can bring you huge profits. If you have an average list of 1,000 subscribers that have all opted in to receive your newsletter, recommendations, or whatever else you are sending out and you can get a 2% purchase rate per message you would be able to get 20 extra sales per email you send out.
So if your average sale brings you a $20 profits you would make an extra $400 every single time you send an email to your list. These are very low estimates and if you market to your list correctly you can get well over 10% of your list to purchase every time you send out a message. That would be $2,000 an email just so you know.
So how much will it cost you to set up and maintain this type of marketing? Email marketing costs very little if you do it right. It will cost you a little bit of your time setting it up, but once it is set up it can be automated.
You will need an autoresponder which will range from $19.95 - $99.95 depending on your needs. I don't think you should spend more than $30 on an autoresponder. There are plenty of them that work very well for under $30.
Then, all you have to do is set your lists up and add the messages in that you want your subscribers to receive. It really is that simple and other than the monthly fee for your autoresponder and the time to set up your campaign there are no other email marketing costs involved.
